The name “Al-Harry” honors Alison’s relationship with her dad, Harry, and as she says, “The furniture represents the family God has blessed me with, my home, and everything I love and am passionate about.”
Alison derives inspiration from her childhood, the history of how people lived and furnished their homes, the ocean, sand, march, foliage, and flowers of the Lowcountry and Alison’s love of color. The collections consist of original designs created by Alison, which she commissions local carpenters to build, special pieces built by her husband, Joe, and her father, Harry.
The Al-Harry team also revitalizes and brings new life to family heirlooms. Each piece is adorned with hand-painted details, specialty finishes, unique knobs, interesting embellishments and protective topcoats to enhance their character and charm. Furniture is transformed into heirloom-quality pieces from Country French, Shabby Chic, Re-Design, American Vintage, Rustic European or Mid-Century Modern.
